If you are using a Rackspace orchestration and getting the error:
The Image (Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)) could not be found.
or something similar, there isn’t any documentation of it. For some reason, Rackspace decided to change the name of the images for, at least Ubuntu, and possibly others.
For us, this orchestration image has been working since Oct 2014:
image: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)
You will see this line in countless other orchestration examples. You will need to change it to:
image: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) (PVHVM)
After making this change, you won’t get the “not found” error anymore.
Update:
Looks like the CentOS images changed inconsistently too. This used to work:
image: CentOS 6.5
Now it has to be:
image: CentOS 6 (PVHVM)
